In the world of trade show displays, you get what you pay for. While well-designed websites give the illusion that every company is selling quality trade show booths, once you look closer you'll find a wide range of quality from company-to-company. Unfortunately, the uninitiated may not to be able to assess their options without professional advice.

Buying a trade show display is not an everyday occurrence for most people, and they can't be expected to know what questions to ask. Unfortunately some companies take advantage of that inexperience. In shopping for a trade booth display, asking questions upfront about quality, delivery, customer service, support, and guarantees will quickly separate the cheap from the quality products.

Quality Displays

There's a wide range of quality when considering trade show display exhibits. A few years ago, you could differentiate simply by knowing if they were manufactured in the US or overseas. But today, most displays, as almost every other item in the world, is manufactured in Asia. The difference in quality is now established by how the manufacturing and fulfillment is managed, with focus on ensuring high levels of quality and customer support after purchase. So, when looking for a new trade show display, consider these important features.

  • Request a reliable warranty. Will your source be there in two years when you just need to replace a small part of get new graphics?
  • Accept only top grade materials. Many imported booths are poorly constructed with low-grade construction materials, plastic shelving and channel bars that make them less stable. exhibitDEAL works with manufacturing facilities that have strict quality standards and various controls to guarantee materials and construction are consistently superior.
  • Make sure you get what you were offered. All fabric options seem the same, but we use only original Front Runner fabrics, that are substantially more durable.
  • Verify cases are rotomolded, not blow molded. Rotomolded carrying cases are stronger and more durable, to minimize the risk that the exhibit will be damaged during shipping.
  • Your graphics should be AMAZING. Remember the better the message the better response you will get. Quality graphics feature impeccable resolution and durable laminates to protect your investment. Make sure the materials the graphics are printed on special photographic media that blocks back lighting, and that the protective laminate is thick and matte. Inferior displays use considerably thinner laminates that cause graphics to easily crease.
